Summary
- 911 call and bloody images detail domestic dispute.
- Neither star nor ex-partner will face charges.
- Allegations of abuse made by both parties in February.

A 911 call and bloody images have emerged detailing a domestic dispute between Taylor Frankie Paul, star of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," and her ex-partner, Dakota Mortensen. The incident occurred on February 22, the same day Mortensen alleges Paul attacked him at her home. Both Paul, 31, and Mortensen, 33, who dated intermittently between 2022 and 2024, had made domestic violence claims against each other in February. Photos submitted to the Draper City Police Department show Mortensen with a bloody nose and bruises, while Paul also sustained bruises. Despite the evidence, authorities announced on Tuesday that neither will face charges, citing insufficient corroborating evidence and identifying Mortensen as the primary aggressor in a second incident on February 23.
During the February 22 911 call, obtained by TMZ, Mortensen is heard explaining that their two-year-old son was "freaking out" and "kind of hurt," prompting the call. A child's cries are audible in the background throughout the tense exchange between Paul and Mortensen. A separate call the following day, made by a friend identified as Cru Ethan, alleged a pattern of domestic abuse by Paul against Mortensen, citing visible scratches and property damage.
Mortensen previously alleged that Paul attacked him on February 22, claiming she grabbed his throat and shoved him into a window. Paul, however, told officers she asked Mortensen to leave and he refused, not claiming physical violence occurred that day. The report also details an incident on February 23, when Mortensen returned to Paul's home. Mortensen claimed Paul became angry, attacked him, and damaged his car. Paul's account states Mortensen became irate after spilling a drink and assaulted her.
Following these events, Mortensen filed for a restraining order in March, temporarily affecting his custody of their son. Paul was subsequently granted her own order against Mortensen on April 8. This temporary custody arrangement allows Paul supervised visitation with her son. Separately, a 2023 video of Paul attacking Mortensen resurfaced, leading ABC to cancel her season of "The Bachelorette" before its airing. Filming for "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" has also been paused.
