He seeks to rebuild his relationship with his teenage daughter, Angelica.
Upon arriving in Capri, where his late wife's parents run a seaside restaurant, Mottram is drawn into a murder investigation when a local man's body is discovered. He forms a reluctant partnership with local Inspector Lara Sarrancino to solve unusual island crimes. The investigation takes an unexpected turn as Joe learns Italian cooking, with culinary insights providing clues.

The series will also air internationally on BritBox on April 7, 2026.
