Tarantino's "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" to Premiere in 2025

In a highly anticipated move, Quentin Tarantino's revenge epic "Kill Bill" will be released as a single, unrated film titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" on December 5, 2025. The film combines the two original volumes into one continuous story, removing the cliffhanger ending from Volume 1 and the recap that began Volume 2.

Tarantino, who wrote and directed the original films, is thrilled to finally present his vision as a single, cohesive work. "I wrote and directed it as one movie — and I'm so glad to give the fans the chance to see it as one movie," he said. Audiences will also be treated to a never-before-seen, 7.5-minute animated sequence as part of the theatrical release.

The Whole Bloody Affair will be shown in select 70mm and 35mm presentations, ensuring that fans can experience the film's "blood and guts on a big screen in all its glory." Lionsgate, which manages the distribution rights for Tarantino's library, is expected to release the film in all major markets.

The film stars Uma Thurman as "The Bride," who seeks vengeance against her former boss and lover Bill (David Carradine) and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad after they ambush her wedding rehearsal, shoot her in the head, and steal her unborn child.
