Actor Tara Sutaria was recently spotted at Mumbai airport, her sharp ensemble fueling speculation about a possible trip to the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Her departure came shortly after Alia Bhatt was seen at Nice Airport, intensifying discussions about India's presence at the esteemed event.

Sutaria's airport look featured an oversized charcoal grey pinstripe pantsuit. The outfit included a strong, structured silhouette with a broad-shouldered blazer and relaxed trousers, complemented by a soft white blouse with a tie-neck detail. She accessorized with black sunglasses and a black quilted top-handle handbag from Dior.

This follows Alia Bhatt's own stylish arrival in Nice, where she wore a tailored black ensemble by Carolina Herrera, including a blazer with puffed shoulders and a cinched waist, paired with matching skinny trousers from the label's Spring 2026 collection. Gucci accessories completed her monochrome look.

Beyond Sutaria and Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari are also expected to grace the festival representing Indian cinema. Additionally, filmmaker Payal Kapadia will preside over the jury for the 65th edition of Cannes Critics' Week, a parallel section dedicated to emerging cinematic voices.

In film news, Tara Sutaria is slated to appear in 'Toxic', a film headlined by actor Yash. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the movie is set in Goa between the 1940s and 1970s. The cast also includes Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth. 'Toxic' is scheduled for a June 4 release.
