"Bear Country" features Crowe as a club owner whose life is disrupted by a robbery. The film also stars Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, Nina Dobrev, and Aaron Paul, many of whom are anticipated to attend the premiere. The festival is divided into several sections, including a competition for international feature films and a new short film competition focused on films made in Sicily.
Festival chief Tiziana Rocca highlighted the event's celebration of cinema through outstanding personalities and diverse cultural dialogues. The full lineup for the 72nd edition is slated for announcement in early June.
