27 Jul
Summary
- Mongeau questioned the psychology behind prioritizing views over basic morals.
- Clavicular's breakup with Snyder aired live on Kick on July 19, 2026.
- Mongeau discussed the streamer's treatment of his ex-girlfriend Lily Snyder.
On her Brand Safe podcast released July 25, 2026, Tana Mongeau addressed Braden "Clavicular," a prominent looksmaxxing influencer and Kick streamer. Mongeau focused on the morality of creators who prioritize online success over ethical treatment of others, particularly in the context of Clavicular's recent breakup with Lily Snyder.
Mongeau expressed disbelief at the willingness to mistreat someone for views, stating, "what switch is flipped in your brain to be so okay with being so immoral and cruel to people." She contrasted Snyder's appearance, which she described as comparable to a Victoria's Secret supermodel, with Clavicular's more common look.
The controversy follows a July 19, 2026, Kick livestream where Clavicular ended his relationship with Snyder live. During the stream, he accused Snyder of manipulation and stated the relationship was unhealthy. Snyder denied some allegations, but Clavicular insisted on ending the relationship, telling her to stop forcing him into it.
Mongeau emphasized her commentary was driven by curiosity about the psychological motivations behind such behavior rather than judgment. She sought to understand the mindset that allows individuals to disregard morals for perceived benefits of online performance.
