As of November 6th, 2025, Taiwanese telco Chunghwa Telecom has unveiled an ambitious slate of film and TV projects in partnership with Taiwanese creators and regional co-production partners. The goal is to bring Taiwan's original content to international audiences.
The slate, announced at the ongoing Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF), includes several notable projects. One is the Taiwan-Japan co-production "Arrested Memory," a crime drama directed by Japanese filmmaker Sabu and starring Taiwanese actor Ethan Juan. The film follows a detective with Alzheimer's Disease.
