Tabu Conquers Catwalk Nerves at Glamorous Fashion Show

On November 16th, 2025, acclaimed actress Tabu took center stage as the showstopper for renowned fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The Haider star, known for her versatile acting prowess, showcased her poise and elegance on the runway, despite admitting to feeling anxious and stressed in the moments before her big moment.

In an interview, Tabu revealed the immense pressure she felt, worried about potential mishaps like tripping or slipping on the glossy floor. "It is very unnerving before you go on the ramp. You get only a few minutes before the spotlight hits you and barely five minutes on the ramp. It's over before you know it, but the pressure is high in those few minutes," she shared.

However, Tabu's nerves did not show as she stunned the audience in the designers' iconic "Architectural Coat" ensemble. Wearing black parallel trousers and a matching cowl neck tunic adorned with intricate silver hand-embroidery, the actress exuded confidence and grace, reflecting her genuine love for fashion. "When you truly love what you're wearing, that joy reflects in your walk. The music, the atmosphere -- everything plays a part," she added.

Despite the fleeting nature of runway shows, Tabu embraced the unique experience, describing it as vastly different from her acting work. "It's incredibly time-sensitive; you only get those few moments, and there are no retakes. It's a pure stage experience. You're bound by the choreography, yet you get to interpret it in your own way."
