Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You," featured in "Toy Story 5," has maintained its position at the top of Billboard's Top Movie Songs chart for four consecutive months, extending its dominance through September 2026. The song, released on June 5, 2026, also topped the weekly Billboard Hot 100 in June 2026. Its continued success is attributed to significant streaming and sales figures.
Competitors on the September 2026 chart include tracks from "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Tame Impala's "Loser" secured the second position, benefiting from the film's July 31, 2026 release and subsequent public interest. Other "Spider-Man" songs by Steve Lacy and Bad Bunny also charted well.
The newly released "Practical Magic 2," which premiered on September 10, 2026, made a notable impact. Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" reached No. 3, and King Harvest's "Dancing in the Moonlight" landed at No. 8, showcasing classic tracks within the new film.
These rankings are based on data from Tunefind and Luminate, blending song and film information with sales and streaming metrics. The chart generally includes recent films but also accommodates music with sustained public engagement.
