He will reprise his role in the penultimate episode of "S.W.A.T. EXILES" Season 1.
Lim was candid about his feelings, noting that the rollout of the spinoff announcement, occurring just two days after the "S.W.A.T." finale, felt dismissive to the cast who had been with the show since its inception. He emphasized that a moment of reflection for the show's builders was missed.
Joining Lim in the "EXILES" universe are fellow "S.W.A.T." alumni Jay Harrington and Patrick St. Esprit. Harrington, who played Sgt. David "Deacon" Kay, also shared feelings of being blindsided by the spinoff's reveal. St. Esprit portrayed Commander Robert "Bob" Hicks.
The new series, starring Shemar Moore as Sgt. Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, will follow his character's return from forced retirement to lead an experimental S.W.A.T. unit composed of young, untested recruits. "S.W.A.T. EXILES" has not yet announced a premiere date or a U.S. broadcast network.
