Starz is expanding the "S.W.A.T." franchise with a new spin-off series titled "S.W.A.T. Exiles." The show is set to premiere on Friday, September 25.
Shemar Moore will reprise his iconic role as Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, who is brought back to lead a fresh team composed of young and challenging recruits. These new characters include Jude Callan, Ethan Cole, Cassidy Han, Samantha Bishop, and Malik Henderson, portrayed by Ronen Rubinstein, Freddy Miyares, Zyra Gorecki, Lucy Barrett, and Adain Bradley, respectively.
While the "S.W.A.T." universe is expanding, the original series' cast will see minimal representation. Only Jay Harrington as David "Deacon" Kay and Patrick St. Esprit as Commander Robert Hicks are confirmed for the pilot episode. David Lim, who plays Victor Tan, is also slated to guest-star later in the season. No other original cast members have been announced for "S.W.A.T. Exiles."
