Shemar Moore returns as Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson in "S.W.A.T. Exiles," a new spin-off series. First-look photos showcase Moore in tactical gear, leading a squad of new recruits. The series sees Hondo pulled from forced retirement to command an experimental S.W.A.T. unit.
His mission is to mold a group of unpredictable, untested young officers into a formidable team. Hondo must overcome generational differences and clashing personalities to protect the city and salvage the program that shaped him.
The 10-episode freshman season has concluded its production. However, the series has not yet secured a network or streaming platform attachment. Several series regulars will join Moore, including Ronen Rubinstein and Freddy Miyares.
Fans can also expect guest appearances from familiar faces like Jay Harrington and Patrick St. Esprit, reprising their original "S.W.A.T." roles. The production team includes showrunner Jason Ning and executive producers Kevin Tancharoen, Neal H. Moritz, and Shemar Moore himself.
