Skydance Animation's new animated adventure, "Swapped," is set to premiere on Netflix on May 1. The film features Michael B. Jordan as Ollie, a woodland creature, and Juno Temple as Ivy, a bird. Their characters find themselves in a mystical fantasy world where their species are in conflict. A magical flower causes Ollie and Ivy to swap bodies, leading them on an epic quest to return to their original forms. Along their journey, they encounter numerous dangers and unexpected challenges.
Directed by Nathan Greno, who previously co-directed Disney's "Tangled," the movie was produced by John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews. This project marks Michael B. Jordan's first film release since his Best Actor Oscar win in March for "Sinners." Jordan is also slated to star in and direct a new iteration of "The Thomas Crown Affair" in 2027. Juno Temple has recently been seen in "Roofman" and "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die." Netflix Animation has other upcoming releases, including "Steps" and "Ray Gunn."
