Zohn, the first 'Survivor' winner from Boston, is organizing the Reality Run Club, a charity event in the city. The run will feature several 'Survivor' alumni, including Jeremy Collins and Wendell Holland, and will cover a 2.62-mile course around Fenway. The event begins at Game On! sports bar, followed by a watch party for the newest 'Survivor' episode.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit three charities: Epilepsy Foundation New England, AKTIV Against Cancer, and Zohn's nonprofit, Grassroots Soccer. Zohn established Grassroots Soccer using prize money from 'Survivor' to support teens in underserved areas through soccer programs. He credits 'Survivor' with teaching him resilience, which aided him through his own past battles with blood cancer.
