Suriya's Vishwanath & Sons Crosses ₹260 Cr!

Vishwanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, has achieved remarkable success, grossing over ₹260 crore worldwide in just 25 days since its August 14 release. This box office triumph makes it Suriya's second film of 2026 to cross the ₹250 crore global milestone, following Karuppu which exceeded ₹300 crore.

Adding to its success, the film is set to premiere on Netflix on September 11, 2026. It will be available to stream in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The movie follows Suriya's character, Sanjay Vishwanath, an accomplished shooter balancing excellence with family and a new love story.

The film features Mamitha Baiju as Suriya's love interest and also stars veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon, who returns to Tamil cinema after a long hiatus. The narrative offers a glimpse into the life of a dedicated athlete facing personal challenges, with Suriya's role drawing comparisons to his iconic performance in Ghajini.
