Advance collections show a strong performance, particularly in Tamil Nadu, which contributed 2.05 crore, and Kerala, adding 1.6 crore. Karnataka and the Telugu states followed with 30 lakh and 15 lakh, respectively. Trade experts estimate that over 2.37 lakh tickets have been sold for approximately 2,528 shows.
Director Jithu Madhavan, known for the 2024 blockbuster 'Aavesham,' is at the helm of this highly anticipated project. For 'Scene' to become Suriya's highest-grossing opening post-COVID, it needs to surpass 24 crore. However, it could still achieve the milestone of becoming his biggest opener of 2026 if it earns 16 crore on its opening day.
