Suresh Gopi Defends Vijay's Political Future, Urges Patience

Union Minister Suresh Gopi has advised against premature judgment of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay's administration, emphasizing the need to allow him sufficient time to demonstrate his capabilities. Gopi articulated that criticism should be withheld until Vijay has had the opportunity to perform his duties. He further welcomed the prospect of Vijay's political movement, which recently achieved victory in Tamil Nadu, expanding its reach to other states, including Kerala. Gopi stated that any political party should have the liberty to establish its presence wherever it chooses.

Reflecting on actor-politicians, veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal noted that audience adoration for figures like Vijay, MGR, and Rajinikanth is largely attributable to their iconic on-screen personas. He suggested that audiences connect with the characters portrayed rather than the personal lives of the stars. Earlier, Malayalam superstar Mammootty had politely declined to comment on Vijay's political transition, stating a lack of awareness on the matter.
