During Super Bowl LVIII, major film studios presented new trailers for highly anticipated upcoming movies. Disney unveiled a teaser for "The Mandalorian" theatrical sequel, featuring Din Djarin and Grogu. This film, directed by Jon Favreau, is set to premiere on May 22.
Universal Studios offered a brief teaser for the follow-up to "The Super Mario Bros Movie," with Chris Pratt and Charlie Day returning to voice Mario and Luigi. This animated adventure is scheduled for release on April 1.
Steven Spielberg's UFO film "Disclosure Day," starring Emily Blunt and Colin Firth, also debuted a minute-long trailer, hinting at humanity's first contact with alien life. The movie is slated for a June 12 release.
Furthermore, fans were treated to an extended trailer for Ryan Gosling's sci-fi film "Project Hail Mary," directed by the creators of "The Lego Movie." This film is expected in theaters on March 20. Netflix also surprised audiences with a preview of David Fincher's "The Adventures of Cliff Booth," starring Brad Pitt, though no release date was announced.
