The film 'Sukran,' directed by Ubaini and starring Bibin George and Shine Tom Chacko, is set for its second digital streaming release. It will be available on ManoramaMAX starting April 4, following its initial streaming on Sun NXT from March 13. This re-release comes after the movie's theatrical debut on February 6, 2026.
'Sukran' explores themes of fate and relationships, centering on Nandu, whose life is seemingly controlled by an unlucky horoscope. Complications arise when his childhood love reappears years later. The film attempts to balance romance, humor, and suspense.
Despite a decent premise and positive viewer feedback praising its realistic portrayal and engaging script, 'Sukran' did not perform well at the box office. Critics noted the authentic dialogues and natural performances, calling the script writer's work brilliant.
