Suits Star Pitches Epic Revival With Meghan Markle

Summary
- Patrick J. Adams proposed a Suits revival plot on Instagram.
- His pitch includes Meghan Markle's character, Rachel Zane.
- The original series gained new popularity on Netflix in 2023.

Patrick J. Adams, who starred as Mike Ross in the USA legal drama Suits, has shared an ambitious revival concept on social media. His proposed storyline involves Mike and Rachel Zane, played by Meghan Markle, engaging in a class-action lawsuit against a major tech company. This new case could potentially expose past wrongdoings from their time at Pearson Hardman, jeopardizing the futures of characters like Harvey Specter, Donna Paulsen, Jessica Pearson, and Louis Litt.
Adams suggested that his character's desire to do good would once again bring the team together to clear their names and secure a better future. He humorously mentioned adding "skinny tie jokes" and classic "bike riding montages," alongside the possibility of Harvey and Donna having a child and potential spinoffs in different cities. Adams admitted he has no insider information on actual reunion plans, especially following the cancellation of "Suits: LA."
The original Suits series, which aired from 2011 to 2019, saw a remarkable resurgence in popularity when it became available on Netflix in the summer of 2023. This renewed attention led to record-breaking viewership, with Nielsen reporting it as the most-viewed acquired streaming title. Between June 26 and July 2 of the past year, the show garnered over 3 billion viewing minutes across Netflix and Peacock.
Despite the success of the original series, a recent spinoff, "Suits: LA," which premiered in February 2024 and starred Stephen Amell, was canceled in May 2025 after only one season. Adams has previously expressed interest in other reunion formats, including a potential movie, and participated in a cast reunion at the ATX TV Festival in June 2024.
