Original Sugababes Reunite for New Album

The iconic UK girl group Sugababes are making a significant comeback, with their original lineup of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy reuniting for a new album. This highly anticipated self-titled record, 'Sugababes,' is slated for release on February 12, 2027, marking their first album together as a trio in over two decades since their 2000 debut, 'One Touch.'

The group has already released their comeback single, 'Ghost,' accompanied by a music video, giving fans a taste of their new sound which is expected to blend genres like garage, amapiano, and R&B. The members expressed their dedication to the project, stating, "We've poured so much into the songs, the sound and every detail around it." This reunion represents a significant moment, especially considering the group's history of lineup changes and the members' past efforts to reclaim the Sugababes name.

Previously performing as Mutya Keisha Siobhán (MKS) in 2012, the original members officially returned to the Sugababes moniker in 2021. This comeback is described as more than just a career move; it's about 'restoring what was meant to be' and seeking justice for past perceived unfairness. The new album promises to deliver an eclectic mix of sounds, reflecting the group's renewed artistic vision.
