The legendary Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo, active from 1963 to 1998, composed music for approximately 750 films. Their success, exemplified by early hits like those in 'Parasmani' and the blockbuster 'Dosti,' was often attributed to the profound emotional rapport they cultivated with filmmakers, a sentiment Ghai passionately advocates for.
