Episode 6 of HBO Max's "Stuart Fails To Save the Universe" plunges its accidental heroes into bizarre dimensions. The characters, including Stuart Bloom, Denise, Bert, and Barry Kripke, first navigate a universe populated by beings descended from cows. During this adventure, Kripke and Bert express a desire to leave, while Stuart and Denise wish to stay, resulting in the latter pair becoming trapped in an endless void between universes.
Further complicating their journey, Stuart and Denise encounter a different version of Raj and receive a scolding from another Stuart. Miraculously, they manage to order a second dimensional machine, which subsequently traps Kripke and Bert with them as they too fall through the void. Actors Kevin Sussman and Lauren Lapkus shared that their on-screen terror during the falling scene was not merely acting.
Lapkus and Sussman recounted the intense filming experience, detailing the use of high wires for a 30-foot drop. They described the scene as far more terrifying than anticipated, rendering them unable to scream due to genuine fear. This visceral reaction mirrored nightmares where screaming is impossible. The episode also featured scenes of actors consuming hay and grass, which led to considerable choking.
