In her own social media post, Tess expressed that the award was a "privilege beyond words and without doubt the greatest honor" of her career, which she is "profoundly and eternally grateful" for. Tess also dedicated the honor to her late father, saying he would be "so proud" to see her meeting the King at the castle.
Tess and Vernon have been open about their efforts to keep their daughters safe online, with Tess revealing in a 2019 interview that the royal family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, are fans of Strictly Come Dancing.
