Professional dancer Jane Bullock, 60, known for training stars of Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars, has been left unable to walk after a severe stroke in August 2025. She collapsed at her home while experiencing stroke symptoms, including facial drooping and one-sided paralysis. Medical professionals identified a blood clot in her carotid artery and significant brain swelling.
Following surgery to relieve swelling and a month on life support, Jane has spent seven months in hospital and rehabilitation. She now faces paralysis on her left side and cognitive impairments, such as an inability to tell time. Her husband, Warren, described her life as "destroyed" and expressed concerns about affording the estimated £2,000 per week for professional care.
Despite the immense personal and financial strain, Warren remains dedicated to Jane's well-being. A GoFundMe campaign has garnered over £46,000 to help the couple adapt their home and manage Jane's ongoing needs. Their shared passion for dance led them to establish a ballroom at their Wolverhampton home and star in the Channel 5 show "Baby Ballroom."
