Strictly Lights Up: Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes

BBC iPlayer is launching an extensive range of new programming for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing series, headlined by the exclusive show Strictly: Lights Up. This new series will be accessible on BBC iPlayer every Sunday evening, immediately after the results show concludes. Comedian Abi Clarke and former Strictly contestant Tyler West will host, providing instant reactions from eliminated couples, judges, and other celebrity guests directly from the dance floor.

In addition to Strictly: Lights Up, a dedicated Strictly hub will feature a variety of exclusive content. Weekly training room episodes will offer behind-the-scenes glimpses into couple rehearsals, complemented by a highlights show summarizing the week's events. Viewers will also be able to watch individual dances and navigate full episodes using chapter markers for the first time. The show officially began on September 19, with live shows commencing September 26. Strictly: Lights Up is set to debut on October 4, coinciding with the first elimination of the season.
