Strictly 2026: New Hosts, Shock Pro Departures!

Strictly Come Dancing is gearing up for its 2026 season with a brand-new presenting team. Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe will take the helm, stepping into roles previously held by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. This new trio's chemistry is noted as undeniable, promising an exciting dynamic for viewers.

The launch show, scheduled for Saturday, September 19, will introduce the celebrity cast of 2026 in a spectacular fashion. For the first time, each celebrity will discover their professional dance partner during the show, revealed through three specially choreographed group dances. This innovative approach aims to maximize dancing from the outset.

In addition to the new hosts, the professional dancer line-up sees significant changes. Fan favourites Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Karen Hauer, Michelle Tsiakkas, and Gorka Márquez are departing. Neil Jones and Nancy Xu are reportedly set to be without partners this series, marking a considerable shake-up.

The esteemed judging panel, however, remains consistent. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Head Judge Shirley Ballas are all returning to provide their expert critiques. The celebrity contestants for 2026 include Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, and many others, all set to compete for the coveted Glitterball trophy.
