- Kai Cenat turned down a $60 million deal to promote gambling in 2023
- Cenat prioritized his "greater purpose" over short-term financial gain
- Cenat had already achieved "financial freedom" and could afford to reject the offer

According to a recent conversation, popular streamer Kai Cenat revealed that he turned down a $60 million deal back in 2023 to promote "gambling and stuff like that." At the time, Cenat was in the midst of his first-ever Mafiathon streaming marathon when the offer came in.
Cenat explained that he had already reached a state of "financial freedom," which enabled him to reject the deal. "I said no," he added. "The first thing I did, I went to my closet. We got off the call, I went into my closet, and I just asked God. I said, 'Listen. ... I'mma say no right now.' I don't wanna take the short-term. I wanna be able to take the long-term."
Cenat emphasized that he had learned "not all money is good money" and that he did not want to pursue money for money's sake, even after achieving financial stability. Instead, he prioritized his "greater purpose" and maintaining his focus on his current path.
This weekend, Cenat hit another milestone by reaching 1 million subscribers, a goal he had set for himself earlier this year. Despite feeling "a little lost" at the start of 2023, Cenat has now achieved this significant achievement in the streaming space.
