Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights for 2026 will feature a new haunted house based on the popular series Stranger Things. This attraction promises an "authentic, visceral experience" that places guests at the center of the final battle to save Hawkins, drawing from Season 5's storyline.
The immersive house will transport visitors through iconic locations such as the Wheeler's house, Hawkins National Laboratory, and the MAC-Z military base. Guests will also venture into the terrifying realms of the Upside Down and the Abyss, encountering familiar threats like demogorgons and Vecna. Limited-edition merchandise, including T-shirts and mugs, will be available.
A lingering question for many fans concerns the fate of Dr. Owens following Season 4. While not a typical venue for resolving such plot points, there's hope that the haunted house may offer a subtle clue, such as an obituary or a narrative suggesting his disappearance, to provide some closure for this semi-pivotal character.
