Stiller & Williams Helped Prom-posal Video

Skyler Gisondo shared an extraordinary memory from his teenage years, revealing how Hollywood icons Ben Stiller and Robin Williams assisted him in crafting a prom-posal video. During the filming of "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" in 2014, a then-17-year-old Gisondo, who played Stiller's son, conceived a unique way to ask his girlfriend to prom. He wrote a short skit and approached his co-stars, who enthusiastically agreed to participate.

What began as a simple idea quickly transformed into a significant production, with Ben Stiller taking the initiative. Stiller reportedly assembled the film crew and arranged for professional lighting, elevating Gisondo's personal gesture into a cinematic moment. The resulting video, featuring Gisondo with a rose and a monkey on his head, alongside a playfully emotional Stiller and Williams, proved to be a charming and effective plea. This star-studded prom-posal was a success, ultimately securing Gisondo his prom date.

Robin Williams, who portrayed Theodore Roosevelt in the "Night at the Museum" franchise, tragically passed away in 2014 at the age of 63. Ben Stiller and Skyler Gisondo later reunited over a decade after their initial collaboration to portray father and son in "Focker-in-Law," the fourth installment of the "Meet the Parents" comedy series. The film, directed by John Hamburg, was scheduled for release on November 25th. Additionally, Gisondo starred in "Primetime," directed by Lance Oppenheim, which was in theaters at the time of this report.
