Stephen Graham Eyed for The Traitors Stint

Stephen Graham, celebrated for his role in the hit drama Adolescence, is reportedly being considered for the next season of The Celebrity Traitors. BBC bosses are keen to secure the actor for the show, viewing him as a significant signing due to his popularity and enigmatic public persona. The drama Adolescence, which Graham co-created and starred in, achieved global success last year, earning eight Emmy awards and four Golden Globes. Graham himself expressed that the impact of the show on viewers, such as prompting conversations between parents and children, is more meaningful than awards.

Graham has had limited reality television experience, including a 2023 appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox with his wife, Hannah Walters. However, The Celebrity Traitors, which drew 14.9 million viewers for its final episode last year, would represent his first major reality TV engagement. Other personalities rumored to be joining the upcoming season include Danny Dyer, Ruth Jones, and Bob Mortimer, with the success of the inaugural celebrity series apparently easing previous reluctance among potential participants.
