Staunton Shines: Holly Jolly Christmas Parade Awaits!

Downtown Staunton is set to sparkle with its "A Holly Jolly Christmas" parade, commencing on December 1st at 7 p.m. The beloved annual event promises a festive evening for the community. This year's grand marshal is Cassie Mierzwa, recognized as the 2025 Staunton Employee of the Year for her exceptional service in emergency dispatch.
Mierzwa will lead the parade, which begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Frederick and New Streets. The route will guide participants along Frederick to Market and then onto Beverley Street, offering prime viewing spots for spectators. The Staunton Police Department will provide public restrooms and a lost and found.
For those unable to attend in person, the parade will be available for live streaming through Lingo Networks. Road closures will be in effect from 5 p.m. on the night of the parade to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all attendees. ADA parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
