Game Changers: Stars Cast in 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow'

Paramount is bringing Gabrielle Zevin's acclaimed 2022 novel, 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow,' to the screen, with Sky Yang and Sean Kaufman joining Daisy Edgar-Jones in the lead roles. The story spans several decades, focusing on childhood friends Sadie and Sam Masur who reunite in college. Together with Sam's roommate Marx Watanabe, they embark on creating a video game studio named Unfair Games. Yang is cast as Sam, Kaufman as Marx, and Edgar-Jones will portray Sadie.

The film explores the complexities of creative collaboration, including its triumphs and heartbreaks, against the backdrop of the burgeoning video game industry from the 1990s through the 2000s. Siân Heder, an Oscar winner for 'CODA,' is directing and writing the screenplay, based on earlier drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin. The novel, published in 2022, has achieved global success, selling over four million copies and earning accolades such as being named one of the 100 best books of the 21st century by The New York Times.

The film adaptation is scheduled for release on November 12, 2027. Production will be overseen by Temple Hill's Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner, with Zevin serving as executive producer. Sky Yang has a notable filmography including 'Last Days' and 'Rebel Moon,' while Sean Kaufman is recognized for his role in 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' and has upcoming projects with Ron Howard and The Daniels.
