Starfield is gearing up for a significant transformation on April 7 with the release of its 'version 2.0' updates. A new paid story DLC, Terran Armada, will introduce an expanded questline, new characters, and additional locations for players to explore.
Concurrently, all players will receive the Free Lanes update, bringing substantial improvements to spaceflight within star systems. This update also adds new encounters, dungeons, a resource called X-Tech for upgrades, and a land vehicle, the Moon Jumper.
Furthermore, April 7 marks Starfield's debut on PlayStation 5. The game will also see a price adjustment to $49.99 on all platforms, a reduction from its current $69.99 price on Xbox. New Trackers Alliance adventures are available now.
