"Star Wars" Legends Collide at "Train Dreams" Premiere
4 Nov
Summary
- Felicity Jones "speechless" meeting Harrison Ford
 - Joel Edgerton invited Ford to support the film
 - "Train Dreams" gaining awards season traction

Three days ago, the news broke that the horror film "White Sands" will star Rebecca Knox, Marta Pozzan, Kaley Ronayne, and Jessica Sula. However, the more intriguing story is the collision of "Star Wars" legends at the Los Angeles premiere of the drama "Train Dreams" on Monday night.
Felicity Jones, who played Jyn Erso in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," admitted she was "a little bit speechless" and "taken aback" when she met Harrison Ford, the iconic Han Solo, for the first time. Jones revealed that she had studied Ford's work, particularly in the "Indiana Jones" films, to prepare for her role in "Train Dreams." She considered him a "massive, massive inspiration" for the character.
Jones' co-star, Joel Edgerton, who portrayed Owen Lars in the "Star Wars" universe, invited Ford to the premiere. The two have become close since Edgerton directed Ford in an ad campaign for Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky last year. Edgerton felt the movie would resonate with Ford because of his connection to nature and his background as a "working man" before becoming a legendary movie star.
In addition to the star-studded premiere, "Train Dreams" is also gaining traction in the awards season, having received two Gotham Film Awards nominations last week for best feature and best adapted screenplay.
