Actor Kenneth Colley, best known for his role as Admiral Piett in the Star Wars saga, has posthumously distributed the majority of his £720,000 estate. Colley, who passed away in June at the age of 87, left his property in Hythe, Kent, to his sister, Michelle.
Further bequests from his net estate, valued at £726,04, were directed towards charitable causes. The Rhodes Minnis Cat Sanctuary in Hythe received £2,000, while the Edith Cavell Fund for Nurses was gifted £20,000. Demelza House Children's Hospice in Sittingbourne also received £5,000.
The remaining portion of Colley's estate was entrusted to his friend and executor, Lynn Margaret Shaw. Colley, who had a distinguished career spanning 60 years on stage, film, and television, died peacefully at his home after contracting Covid-19 and developing pneumonia.
