Ssunita Ahuja Quits Lock Upp Over 'Cow Piss' Soup

Ssunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, has expressed her strong desire to leave the reality television show Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa. On the seventh day of the program, Ahuja vehemently objected to the quality of the food provided to the contestants.

She refused to eat, calling the soup "cow's piss" and criticizing the perceived lack of resistance from fellow inmates. Ahuja urged others to join her protest, emphasizing that many were hungry, including those she affectionately referred to as her "kids."

The following morning, a visibly emotional Ahuja, 59, reiterated her intention to quit. She shared that her husband, Govinda, whom she calls "Chi Chi," had advised against her participation, and she regretted not heeding his advice.

During a challenge where contestants had to answer questions to earn breakfast, Ahuja refused to participate. She became tearful and again declined to eat, suggesting she would prefer to fall ill as a means to exit the show. She questioned whether the producers considered the contestants "trash."

Actor Ram Kapoor attempted to comfort her, but Ahuja remained resolute in her decision to leave the competition.

Earlier, Ahuja had shared her reasons for joining Lock Upp, citing her admiration for Netflix and producer Ektaa Kapoor. She anticipated forming friendships with honest individuals, like herself, and recognized her position as a senior contestant.
