Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan marked his 61st birthday with a unique celebration outside his Mumbai home, Mannat. Instead of his traditional midnight balcony appearance, a giant projector displayed a heartfelt handwritten message from the actor to his adoring fans. The note read, "Thank you all for your wishes and love. Sending mine right back to you all," signed off with "lots of love and a big hug."
This special arrangement also provided a sneak peek of Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming film, 'King.' The projections included key visuals and dialogues such as "King Akela Kaafi Hai" and "Darr Nahi, Dehshat Hoon." The action entertainer, directed by Siddharth Anand, is slated for a Christmas 2026 release on December 24.
'King' holds significance as it will be Shah Rukh Khan's first theatrical release in over three years, following 'Dunki' in December 2023. Notably, the film marks the first on-screen collaboration between the superstar and his daughter, Suhana Khan. The ensemble cast includes prominent actors like Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Abhishek Bachchan.
