Veteran singer-composer Suresh Wadkar recently offered a candid comparison of Bollywood's reigning Khans, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, highlighting their distinct personalities. Wadkar described Shah Rukh Khan as a remarkably calm and well-mannered individual, attributing his excellent etiquette perhaps to his Delhi roots. He revealed a personal connection, stating he was the very first playback singer for SRK in the 1992 film 'Dil Aashna Hai'.
Shifting to Salman Khan, Wadkar painted a different picture, labeling him as a true 'dabang' personality. He explained that Salman tends to be very warm and engaging with people he likes, but may not pay as much attention to those he doesn't know well. Despite their infrequent meetings, Wadkar mentioned that their interactions have always been affectionate.
Looking ahead, Salman Khan is reportedly working on multiple projects including a film with Nayanthara and his movie 'Maatrubhumi' is slated for release. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently filming for his upcoming adventure film 'King', scheduled for a December 24, 2026 release.
