Srinidhi Shetty Reveals Ramayana Audition

Srinidhi Shetty, who starred alongside Yash in the KGF franchise, has shared details about her audition for the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus, Ramayana. In a viral clip from a podcast interview, Shetty confirmed that she met with the filmmakers and screen-tested for the pivotal role.

Shetty revealed that her audition was well-received, with the team reportedly loving her performance. However, she harbored reservations due to the concurrent possibility of Yash also being cast in the film, potentially as Ravana.

Having recently gained widespread popularity as a pair with Yash in KGF 2, Shetty felt audiences might struggle to accept them as adversaries on screen. She ultimately concluded that Sai Pallavi is an excellent choice for Sita and expressed excitement to see her portrayal.
