- Her Tamil debut film 'Parasakhti' faces censor delay.

Actress Sreeleela, known for her roles in Kannada and Telugu cinema, has expressed her strong fondness for Malayalam stars Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan. During a promotional event for her upcoming Tamil film 'Parasakthi' in Kerala, she shared her wish to work with the veteran actors. This sentiment was well-received by fans in attendance.
'Parasakthi,' Sreeleela's debut in Tamil cinema, is directed by Sudha Kongara and is slated for a January 10th release. However, the film's release is currently in jeopardy as it has not yet received its censor certificate, a situation reminiscent of the postponement of Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan'. The period drama is rumored to focus on the anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu.
Beyond her South Indian ventures, Sreeleela is also expanding her horizons into Bollywood. She is reportedly starring opposite Kartik Aaryan in a romantic musical film helmed by Anurag Basu. This project, previously rumored to be titled 'Aashiqui 3,' may now be called 'Tu Meri Zindagi Hai' due to creative and legal considerations.
