Springwatch Ends, Viewers Gutted by Final Episode

The 2026 series of Springwatch concluded on Thursday, June 11th, with presenters Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan broadcasting the final episode from the National Trust Crom estate in Northern Ireland. Packham's announcement that it was the last program of the series elicited immediate disappointment from viewers across social media platforms.

Fans shared their sadness, with many describing the three-week run as enjoyable but over too quickly, like an English summer. The show, which provided an 'oasis of nature' for three weeks, has concluded, leaving many viewers feeling bereft. Michaela Strachan encouraged fans to continue engaging with wildlife content on Springwatch's social media channels over the coming fortnight.
