On October 1st, 2025, it was announced that the production company Religion of Sports is developing a game show based on the online sports trivia game Immaculate Grid. The game, which was created by software developer Brian Minter and purchased by Sports Reference in July 2023, challenges players to fill in a 3x3 grid based on certain criteria along each axis, such as players who had a 100-RBI season for the Dodgers.
Religion of Sports, founded by Gotham Chopra and NFL greats Tom Brady and Michael Strahan, believes the game can translate well to television, providing a platform for sports fans, athletes, and celebrities to come together and test their sports knowledge. "Immaculate Grid is the online game to play if you're a serious sports fan. It's very challenging and very addictive," said Victor Buhler, senior vice president of development and production at Religion of Sports.
In a separate announcement, it was revealed that actors Zach Galifianakis and Kumail Nanjiani have joined the cast of FX's upcoming series 'Very Young Frankenstein.' The show, which is currently in development, is a spin-off of the classic Mel Brooks comedy 'Young Frankenstein.'
