Spiro's highly anticipated original song, 'The Visitor,' is out today, March 13, 2026. This release marks her first new music of the year, following the success of her 2025 track "Die On This Hill." The latter achieved significant chart success, reaching No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 9 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart.
Spiro shared that the creation of 'The Visitor' was an intensive process, requiring nine attempts to articulate her feelings. The song's central theme, inspired by an art exhibition and a jazz performance approximately two years ago, reflects a lifelong awareness of impermanence.
She explained that the concept of being a "visitor" and recognizing the temporary nature of life, relationships, and moments became a profound theme. Collaborating with friends Michael Pollack and Omer Fedi, Spiro finally captured the song's essence.
The recording process included beautiful string arrangements at Valentine studios. Spiro is currently touring the U.S. on a sold-out headline tour and is scheduled to perform in the U.K. this spring.
