Spider-Verse 3 Trailer Leaks, Producer Slams Unfinished Footage

A rough trailer for "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" has recently leaked online, prompting criticism from a key creative voice behind the film. Co-writer and producer Christopher Miller publicly shared his displeasure on X, stating he is "not a fan of leaks of unfinished, not fully rendered footage." This leak comes several months after Sony offered fans an initial preview of the movie at CinemaCon in April 2026. The film, which is the third installment in the "Spider-Verse" trilogy, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 18, 2027. It follows the events of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" (2023) and the original "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" (2018). The narrative is expected to pick up directly after the cliffhanger ending of the previous film, with Miles Morales finding himself in an alternate reality.
