- The vehicle, known as DD6, features in a chase scene.
- It has a guide price of £50,000 to £70,000.
A distinctive military vehicle, which played a role in the latest Spider-Man movie, is scheduled for auction. This machine, identified on-screen as DD6, was featured prominently in a significant chase sequence alongside Tom Holland's portrayal of the web-slinging superhero.
Currently located at a military vehicle experience company in Brackley, the vehicle's history includes appearances in other major films. It is set to be sold online by Humbert & Ellis on November 25th, with an expected price range of £50,000 to £70,000.
The vehicle is a 1969 Alvis Stalwart 6x6 military load carrier, originally designed for challenging terrains. Film production company Marvel acquired it and extensively modified it, giving it a dramatic, futuristic appearance with armoured elements and camouflage.
According to auctioneer Jonathon Humbert, this film star could become one of the most collectible movie props ever. Nick Mead, who previously owned the vehicle and runs Tanks A Lot, stated that it remains largely unchanged from its film set condition, apart from being made road-legal.
