Spider-Man Shatters U.K. Box Office Records Again

In its third weekend, Sony's "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has once again claimed the top position at the U.K. and Ireland box office. The superhero film has now grossed $106.5 million after 20 days. Universal's "The Odyssey," directed by Christopher Nolan, held strong in second place, adding $5 million to its cumulative earnings.
Warner Bros.' "The End of Oak Street" debuted in third place with an opening of $2.8 million. Trafalgar Releasing's "Katseye: Wild Hearts" secured fourth position during its debut. "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie" and "Toy Story 5" followed, with "Minions & Monsters" and A24's Anthony Bourdain film "Tony" also making appearances in the top ten.
Upcoming releases include "Insidious: Out of the Further," "Mutiny," and "Spa Weekend." Repertory screenings will feature "Trainspotting" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" in restored versions. Several other films are also set to premiere in the coming theatrical frame.
