- Pratt is a mayoral candidate running for Los Angeles.

Spencer Pratt, known for his reality television past and now a mayoral candidate for Los Angeles, has clarified his controversial living situation. Reports indicated Pratt was advertising his residence as an Airstream trailer on his burned lot in the Palisades. However, he revealed to TMZ Live that he has not been living in the Airstream or on the lot, attributing this to receiving death threats.
Pratt explained that his security team advised against staying on the lot, which was also affected by fires. He asserted that despite not sleeping there, the lot remains his home, as he is a native of the Palisades and is fighting for Los Angeles. He also cited delays in establishing utilities for the Airstream as a challenge.
The candidate’s campaign gained attention by contrasting his current situation with opponents' homes. Pratt's wife and children are reportedly staying in Carpinteria, while he has allegedly been residing at the Hotel Bel-Air for over a month. He concluded by stating his fight is for his "dirt in my ashes" and that he has been displaced since his house was destroyed.
