Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will continue to receive new content throughout 2026, extending its support into a third year. Developer Saber Interactive has confirmed an updated roadmap indicating ongoing updates that will include fresh weapons and missions.
Key enhancements planned for later this year include a rework of the Wargear feature, allowing class-specific customizations to be used across different classes. Siege mode will also undergo a significant overhaul with new gameplay modifiers, and existing enemies like the Hive Tyrant and Vortex Beast will be re-imagined as bosses.
Further additions include a practice arena for gear testing, a perk loadout system, and a new bolt carbine sidearm. Dedicated players can earn exclusive armor and weapon variants through Heroic Deeds. These free content drops, combined with recent availability on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, have propelled the game to over 12 million players.
