Sophie Turner, who began altering her hair color at 13 for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, has explored numerous shades throughout her career. Her natural blonde hair was first dyed auburn red for the HBO series, a commitment that lasted for nearly a decade.

Turner recently shared that blonde hair consistently receives the most positive public reactions. While red hair elicits less frequent but intense responses, she finds brunette tones provide a valuable sense of anonymity, making her less recognizable. This current preference for brunette is for her role in Prime Video's upcoming Tomb Raider series.
